CustomProcess

Work Flow Automation Module for Nonstandard Orders

While CenterPoint captures the rules for the vast majority of possible window and door configurations, some custom configurations are too unusual to build rules for. We created CustomProcess to help you systematize the process for estimating and quoting on these nonstandard orders. CustomProcess provides an organized approach so these high-margin opportunities can be addressed promptly and methodically by engineering, purchasing, and other departments.

Custom Process - Configure Windows and Doors
I'm a manufacturer – how does Custom Process help me?
  • Reduces lead time in generating custom quotations.
  • Strengthens your control over the process by tracking both standard and extremely custom products, prioritizing requests by order received, and providing running averages of turn-around time.
  • Ensures that you capture all the information required to build the product before the order enters manufacturing.
  • Allows your distributors and dealers to use the CenterPoint system for all orders, thus building loyalty to you.
How can CustomProcess help my dealers/distributors? Custom Process - Configure Windows and Doors
  • Provides a way for them to track progress on custom quotes.
  • Captures opportunities for quoting on custom windows and doors, which can be higher-margin orders.
  • Includes custom items on the same quote as the rest of the package.
  • Provides drawings and quotes for custom items in the same format as in CenterPoint.
What makes CustomProcess such a flexible, responsive tool for custom orders?
  • Automates the quotation process for any special order windows and doors that fall outside those included in your product configurator.
  • Custom Process - Configure Windows and Doors
  • Provides structure for these nonstandard orders, including information templates and communication protocols between customer service, pricing, engineering, dealers, and distributors.
  • Engineers can flag items that require purchasing intervention and approval. These items will then be automatically routed to purchasing for pricing. Purchasing can also write explanatory notes along with the pricing, and it automatically gets routed back to engineering.
